About Grace

Hello, welcome to Cognizant Psychotherapy!

I believe therapy is a space where growth, healing, and self-discovery can unfold with
compassion and clarity. Many clients come to me to navigate life transitions, relationship
challenges, anxiety, depression,or the lingering effects of trauma. Others seek greater
emotional awareness, improved communication, or a deeper sense of connection with
themselves and those around them.

My work is grounded in compassion, clarity, and collaboration, and I strive to create an
environment where individuals are genuinely supported. As an immigrant, I bring a bicultural
perspective to my practice, allowing me to provide additional support to clients navigating cultural identity, intergenerational dynamics, or the challenges of balancing two worlds. I deeply value working with individuals and couples from diverse cultures, identities, and experiences, believe that healing is enriched when our unique stories are honored.

My therapeutic modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) - all delivered with a warm, relational style that honors your unique journey. In addition, I draw from Gottman Method Couples Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and trauma-informed care to helpindividuals and couples create meaningful, lasting change.

Together, we will work toward greater self-understanding, healthier patterns, and more fulfilling relationships. While healing may feel daunting, you don’t have to go through it alone - I’ll be alongside youevery step of the way.
